Founder and Creative Director, Mo Golden

We are a small design studio in downtown Olympia, Washington. We specialize in hand-made, functional art objects that help you create a personal sanctuary at home.

Our goal is for each piece we create to feel special enough to become an heirloom, yet approachable and durable enough to be part of your every day. Similar to a traditional fashion house, each collection begins with one-of-a-kind pieces that get developed into a production line of limited edition designs.

Having a Studio Golden piece transforms daily tasks into tiny rituals of beauty, wonder, and delight. We use natural materials like clay, along with imagery sourced from the natural world, so that when you hold one of our pieces in your hands, you feel more connected to your own vitality and to how deeply you belong.

Land Acknowledgement

Studio Golden is located on the shores of Steh-Chass, named after the Steh-Chass Band of Indigenous people of the Squaxin Island Tribe who have stewarded this land since time immemorial and who still inhabit the area today. (https://squaxinisland.org).
